To help ensure the safety of our community, and specifically the most vulnerable, it is important that we work together to stop the spread of COVID-19 that is still prevalent in our communities. Northern Ontario has significantly more active cases per capita than the rest of the province.

 

The following preventive measures remain in place until further notice at Univi Health Centre:

1. You will be screened for COVID-19 by telephone prior to your appointment.
2. We ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment or respect the time of your appointment if it is by phone. If you bring a support person to your appointment, they will also be screened, unless they remain in their vehicle during your appointment.
3. Our doors remain locked and walk-ins are not permitted. Upon arrival for your booked appointment, press the intercom button. You will hear the secretary’s voice through the camera. Please speak loud and clear.
4. We are providing all patients with a surgical mask prior to entering the clinic. We kindly ask that you change your mark for the surgical mask provided.
5. Please be kind and patient with our staff. Threats, verbal abuse and any sort of violence is not accepted.
