  • Provide medical secretary service through the daily activities for the organization of the site.
  • Welcome patients and visitors, maintain schedules, triage appointments and all activities related to medical appointments and primary health services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Experience in secretarial/ receptionist duties an asset.
  • Language skills; fluency in French and English, oral and written.
  • Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Working knowledge in computers and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure.
  • Diploma in medical secretary preferred and a certificate in medical terminology an asset.
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Exercise discretion with regard to confidential information.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A criminal record check will be required before hiring.
Salary Range
  • Per the Ministry of Health salary grid.
