Mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness helps us meet life’s challenges with gentleness and clarity. We offer a 12 week program online.

Participants of the Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM) courses have reported the following results:

  • Improving cognitive ability
  • Reducing stress, anxiety and depression symptoms
  • Increasing sense of well-being
  • Reducing pain
  • Improving quality of life for those living with chronic conditions

*Difficult feelings may arise during these sessions. Participants are encouraged to seek counselling services through their family physician, other primary care providers or existing therapist if this should arise.

Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM)- Entry Level

Next start date is September 18, 2023. This course is given by Annie Hebert, RN with MBCPMTM Level 1 certification from the NeuroNova Centre for Mindful Solutions.  We welcome entry level participants as well as those doing a revision of the course. It is advisable to find a location in your home where you will be comfortable and have privacy as all discussions during the session are confidential.
