Mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness helps us meet life’s challenges with gentleness and clarity. We offer a 12 week program online through Zoom.

Participants of the Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management (MBCPM) courses have reported the following results:

  • Improving cognitive ability
  • Reducing stress, anxiety and depression symptoms
  • Increasing sense of well-being
  • Reducing pain
  • Improving quality of life for those living with chronic conditions

*Difficult feelings may arise during these sessions. Participants are encouraged to seek counselling services through their family physician, other primary care providers or existing therapist if this should arise.

This program will resume in fall 2024.
