Physiotherapy
Out-patient physiotherapy services are offered at the Sudbury East Physiotherapy Center (SEPC). This service is funded by the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and is coordinated through the Univi Health Centre. The Physiotherapy Centre is open three days a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The physiotherapy treatments available at the SEPC are provided by appointment only. Please communicate with the Physiotherapy Centre to schedule an appointment.
Services
The Physiotherapy Centre offers a number of treatments for different types of conditions, such as physiotherapy for orthopedic conditions such as tendonitis, lower back pain and neck pain. We also offer services for deconditioning, decreased balance and neurological conditions such as a stroke and Parkinson’s disease.
Services are supported through the Univi Health Centre and require a physician’s or nurse practicioner’s prescription. Referrals from other physicians and primary care providers are accepted.
Physiotherapy services are provided by Powell Physiotherapy, a physiotherapy company based in Sudbury that provides physiotherapy services to a variety of organizations in the Sudbury region.

Lynda Powell P.T.
Lynda is from Powell Physiotherapy. She is our on-site physiotherapist who assesses plans and delegates treatments for all clients at SEPC. Lynda has 31 years of experience as a physiotherapist and travels six times a month from Sudbury to provide physiotherapy services to our community.
