WARREN, March 6th, 2020 – Last week, Univi Health Centre celebrated its 12th International Women’s Day in Warren where this year’s theme was inspired by the game show Press Your Luck.
During the event, local agencies were present to showcase their services and work in the region. Afterwards, the afternoon turned into a real live game show where the attendees’ knowledge was put to the test to win prizes, in hopes that the “Whammy” wouldn’t make an appearance and steal their loot.
Our community health workers, Joanne Violette, Julie Raymond and Josée Pitre worked very hard over the last few months to make this event yet again another outstanding success. The room was brimming with smiles and laughter, especially after discovering that our Executive Director, Michel Mayer, was dressed as the “Whammy.”
